Information collected
Google Analytics 4 is configured to load only after a visitor allows optional analytics. It records page views and selected, non-identifying interactions. Search text is not included in analytics event parameters. The site does not use first-party forms. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data to deliver pages; check the production host’s privacy terms when it is selected.
Advertising
AdSense requests remain disabled unless the domain is approved by AdSense, a publisher ID and ad unit IDs are configured, and the consent setup is confirmed. If enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as browser, device, and page context to select, limit, and measure ads. Ads are planned for story, folklore-being, cultural-context, and collection detail pages only. Before ads are enabled, the publisher must configure an appropriate consent message. Google requires publishers serving ads in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to use a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. See Google’s CMP requirements.
Search preferences
Submitting a search places the search term in the page URL; Pagefind runs locally in your browser against a static search index. The query text is excluded from analytics event parameters.
